Alien
I love this guy from Toy Story. I think I still have the talking stuffed doll from the 1st movie. They always make me happy.

Demon Mints with Hell Breath
I would buy these. I really would love to smell "Hell Breath." Well, not really. But, I'm curious. Now, would the mints actually look like this? Or, better yet, would they Actually be little demon heads that scream and talk in old tongues while you chew them? I vote for that one. Yeah...demon mints.

M.U.S.C.L.E. Men
AKA: Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere!!!
I loved M.U.S.C.L.E. Men. Of all the childhood toys I had, all I have left is a package of them. Most everything else was DESTROYED in my parent's basement...and my heart ached. Oh, how I wish I still had everything in mint condition for my kids to play with. Oh well.

Temple of Doom
Finished Size: about 4" x 3"
My co-worker's friend needed a drawing for a T-shirt design. I think it had something to do with an event regarding heart health. The guy had a fun twisted take on it. He wanted to see a close up of the hand of Mola Ram pushing into the chest of Indiana Jones (from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom). The slogan that my co-worker was going to throw on it is: "Don't let your heart be Doomed. Live Healthy." Pretty neat. Anyway, that's what I did, and here it is. Isn't life fun?

Happy 15 Years!
It's a lame drawing, but I didn't have much time. Patrizzia and I have been together 15 years today, and we got to celebrate by actually going out to dinner by ourselves AND see a movie (we saw Inception, and it was incredible). It's been a fabulous 15 years, and I hope for many more. I love you, Patrizzia. Thank you for being my best friend, my love, my wife and for giving me the 2 most beautiful children I could ever have imagined.

Peanut
This is a Betta fish. For completing her big girl chart, M was awarded with her first pet. She chose a red Crowntail Betta and named him Peanut. This is not a drawing of him as I was not in the mood to try to find him in the little tank. So, I sketched a random image of a similar type fish. You can see more about Peanut on Patrizzia's blog right....HERE.

Chili's Doodles
So, we were at Chili's for lunch. Armed with a red and a yellow crayon, the back of the kids' menu and a pen, this is what we did. M asked me to draw someone for her to color in. So, I doodled this guy. She drew the other person. There are so many crazy things going on with her person that I don't even know where to start. So, I'll just leave it at that.

Commodore 16 Egg
This really brings me back. Back to a time when a computer hooked up to your black and white TV. When you had a huge book filled with Spaghetti Code that you would spend hours entering only to find out that it either didn't work...OR...just gave you a gnarly ASCII wave that sped down your screen in 1 second. Now THAT was elation.
There was just this feeling of empowerment when as a kid I was able to manipulate a machine and make cool things (they were really Rad at the time) appear on my TV. Sure, it was nerdy. But, damn did I feel awesome. And...so does this egg. He's living the high life for sure.

In case you were wondering, the Egg's code reads:
"Ready
10 This Sucks
20 Go To 10
30 Still Sucks
40 Go To 30
50 This Won't Work
Run"
I know what you are saying, "Stupid Egg, that won't work." Well, I think he is fully aware off that. This is just his "frustration code." You know, the code you enter when you are at your wit's end...or the random swear word you enter in Google when you don't know what to type. You know it won't amount to anything, but you do it anyway. Good luck, Egg. You tell that Commodore who's boss. And, at that time, it was probably Tony Danza.

M and Jessie
Last night, M asked me to draw a picture of her and Jessie together. I could not let her down. I am very pleased with this drawing, which is very rare for me as I tend to be too critical of my art. I used the Bic round stic Grip pen (fine point) to do this entire drawing. That gives me more control for delicate shading. It is always more difficult to draw women and children because they tend to have softer features. It's easy to screw up and make them look too harsh.
But, this one turned out pretty well, even with the black ink shading. I took a recent shot of M and combined it with the reference that I used for Jessie yesterday. Patrizzia took a couple pictures of M with her toy Jessie, and although they were cute, this shot of her is just too sweet. They'll be friends forever, and it's the sweetest thing to see.
You can also click on the image to see it full size. Enjoy.

Jessie
My sweet daughter loves Jessie from Toy Story, and she asked me to draw her a couple days ago. I think she will like this one. She never really asks for anything (toy-wise), and that's fine. But, she REALLY wanted a Jessie doll after seeing Toy Story 2 and 3. I just adore watching her play with that doll. Jessie is her little buddy now.

Bacteria
Now, what's more potent? A virus or bacteria? I guess it depends on which ones you are comparing. But, if I were comparing this guy to "Bud the Virus" I drew yesterday, then I would have to say that this guy wins. He just looks mean. I wouldn't want him as a pet. I'll give him a name, though. I'll call him Staphy.

Happy Vaccine Guy
So, my son had to get shots today, and I thought to myself, would kids like to get shots if the syringes looked like this guy?
The answer came to me instantly.
NO. No they would not.
Shots are terrible.
Getting knifed by a clown would not make it suck any less than getting knifed by a Hobo.
So no. There is no way to make shots cool.

Baby Tooth
Oh my goodness. This one is fantastic. My brother, the 39 year old ex Airborn Ranger and current Police Detective found out something fantastic at the dentist. He has a BABY TOOTH!!!
Holy crap. A baby tooth that never fell out. Oh my...this is comedy gold. For the guy who likes to rip on everyone, this is just too much ammo now.
I wonder if he has to feed that tooth different food? Like pureed peaches from a little jar. Or, maybe he has to change its diaper a few times a day. The possibilities are endless. More on this later, maybe.

Zombie Pig
While at work, I was running out some Rush posters, and I had to pull them out as they printed so I could trim them. As I waited for each one to print, I grabbed a tiny 1" x 5" strip of the HP Poster paper and one of those cool pens that has multiple ballpoint colored inks within its hull. This one had blue, black, red and green. So, with those colors, I drew this little guy. Zombie pigs are just so darn cute.

Fail
Crap. I don't know what happened. For the first time in over 300 days of drawing, I missed doodling something. I feel pretty disappointed. The day just got away from me. And, we came home very late from a family party (past Midnight), and then it dawned on me too late. I have even drawn things when I was in the hospital when my son was born. For some reason, this day just slipped away. Crap.

Angry Apple
I've become an Apple fanboy over the years. Their products are just fantastic. Some companies may eventually make a better phone or MP3 player with more bells and whistles. But, Apple does it first, and their ease of use just blows everything else out of the water. And, nobody makes a better computer.
The angry apple? I just wanted to make an angry one because they always seem too happy. That's all.

Woody
I love the Toy Story franchise. You'd be hard pressed to find a better movie series. Pixar just knows how to tell stories, and their execution is nothing short of perfection.
Now, my daughter is thoroughly enjoying the trilogy, and it's the sweetest thing to watch her carry Woody, Buzz and her favorite, Jessie around the house. In a way, I really wish that the toys were real. That way, I'd know that they would appreciate the way she loves them so darn much.

Garbage Pail Egg
One of the favorite memories of my childhood is getting several packs of Garbage Pail Kids (1st series) each week with my allowance and opening those suckers up. Pure joy. When I found a rare card, I just about crapped myself. And, right now, I still have my complete 1st series packed away. I can't believe that it has been 25 years. Wow.

Son of Svengoolie
So, way back in December, I hosted a contest. Mary won. And, I owed her a new drawing of her favorite doodle in a frame. So...needless to say...I'm obviously a lazy ass. Anyhow, I gave her the new drawing today, and as you'll see, it's a step above the one I originally did on the 9th day of this Doodle Blog. You can see that HERE.
I apologize for the delay, Mary. But, better late than never, right? So, maybe I'll do another contest soon..and this time, I'll be a little quicker in handing out the prize.

Social Media Attack
So, this is the final drawing of THIS SKETCH. I knocked it out pretty quickly today at work because there are just too many other jobs that take precedence over this project. And, if I waited until all those were done, I'd never get to this one. Anyhow, it was fun. It's like a little editorial cartoon that will be used in a presentation referencing the social media attack on my company and how we protect ourselves against it.
The logos were dropped in with Photoshop for accuracy.
