Perfect Tree

This drawing makes me very happy. It was fun to do, but I was torn on whether to keep it all black ink or to color it. So, I scanned the black and white version to hold on to it, and then I colored the original with the ink pens, markers and colored pencil. So, you can see both versions. I like them both for different reasons. Which do you prefer?

Gumdrop Andy's Thanksgiving Craft.
Who hasn't done one of these "hand-turkeys" in their life? Andy loves the holidays, and every year, he HAS to make one of these. Good job, little guy.

I wanted to do something with color on that black paper, so I went with my standard "Halloween" imagery. It was a fun 20 minutes just screwing around with the color pencils...seeing the nice purple and blues popping off the black background.
